When the Shell Shattered — and So Did Trust
"I chose Samsonite for its name, its promise, and its reputation. My C-Lite Spinner 75/28 wasn't just another bag — it was supposed to be the best of the best. Built for strength. Designed for endurance.
But between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, that belief broke. Literally.
The shell cracked, the structure failed — BOTH HIMGES BROKE… and I had to bind it with industrial duct tape just to survive the rest of the journey.
Air Asia has denied all responsibility.
But what about Samsonite?
Does Samsonite still stand by its promise of sturdiness, longevity, and durability?
Because if a premium product fails in just one flight — that's not wear and tear. That's a brand letting go of its own legacy.
I trusted the name. I trusted the build.
Now, I only have disappointment — and a suitcase that couldn't withstand what it was made for."
